The Student Services Building houses the school’s house groups, head of house teachers and associated amenities and offices. The completed Design includes creation of a central courtyard with tiered seating for outdoor meetings and lectures. This building is the central hub for the senior/middle year cohort. The building links to existing teaching areas at multiple levels and embraces the central courtyard space that these buildings create.

The key structural engineering features of this project are:

• Placing foundations to avoid key school services
• Excavation adjacent to existing school buildings
• Concrete framed building with reinforced slabs
• Clear open spans on ground floor
